Godspeed Rear Strut Bar. Not Satified.
I just got my Godspeed rear "x" bar that i ordered off ebay. Yes, off ebay brand new.
All the welds look like they have been submerged into water or something, i was expecting more of a "new" clean look.
It also looks like it has normal wear and tear.
The Godspeed emblem IS GLUED!! IS IT JUST ME OR IS THAT A TURN OFF!
Overall, this bar was not worth my $200 shipped NEW.
Can someone tell me if your emblem was glued and if the bars looked lightely scracted up?

uuuuuuh, you've been sold a fake item/ used item for 200$ sounds like. i suggest you dont put it on your car since the welds have prolly been thermally shocked or something and could possibly crack and break. ask for a refund and get your money back then buy from a better site, not egay
The glued on emblem sounds about right for an ebay company. But it definitely does sound like your bar was previously used (based off of your description). I agree with the previous poster; try to get a refund!

I guess after looking at other godspeeds online, all the welds do look like mine except my pictures are more clear making them look worse.
I had too big of an expectation for a $200 part.....$200 is a lot and should be better!

Everyone wants to play but nobody wants to pay. Its ebay man, chances are its not even a god speed bar. Prob a knock off of the god speed bar which is a knock off of the miracle bar
If you dont listen to me, listen to him. Ebay is a no-go when you want quality parts. Half the businesses are run out of warehouses and basements. You could file for a refund or cash-back through paypal, send the product back and demand a full refund, money and all. If it is a good company they should willingly reimburse those 10$ lost for shipping. If not, thats just 10$ that you loose in comparison to 200$ on a most likely fake part. I wouldnt trust those going on my car, those welds look fairly decent but i dont like the browning areas, looks like they were just dipped in water to cool off. The ends look whack, and that emblem looks just like a pressed peice of metal. You should read more about the pictures you saw, sometimes they originate from "fake vs real" threads and probably posted as Fakes. Glue on a companies own emblem doesnt sound like proper advertisement, for lack of a better word, from the manufacturer. Talk to the guy asap, although it might be past the usual 7-day period, and get your money back. Keep that 200$ and buy legit parts, fake parts usually give you no performance values and just look nasty. You feel me?
It does't look fake, but Godspeed is made in china? the welds are fine, they just didn't do it right, you polish afer you weld, it looks like they polished then welded, ?WTF! crazy chinese people.......... you just need to re-polish and is would look better.
Or get a blow torch and you can get the whole bar to have the colored heat look, J/k .....lol, I don;t mean to knok it but you may want to send it back, and just go with a good rear strut bar, or save and get a nice cusco bolt in cage, they work better than any strut,z/x bars, and they look cool as ****, but thats way they cost almost $1000.

Ahhhhh, Cusco!!! I WANT!!! but no money and this car is not worth putting a cusco cage into it.....anyways, like i said, i'll post up the pictures i promised....
review wise:
It looks okay from outside, from the rear, and just looking at it in general.
Performance wise, i think it does work, im not a pro driver.
got me thinking though, i installed it while the car was on all four jack stands UNEVENLY as the ground was off and i had many different jack sizes.
I installed the bottom mounts first fine, but the top mounts i had to pull very hard until the holes alligned and then quickly install the bolts...
i dont know if its gonna leave my car uneven strucure wise. Like since i installed the bars uneven, will the car remain uneven?
Over all, it looks good until you research and find out its just a ebay brand and has nothing to do with jdm.
VERY EXPENSIVE for a ebay stuff.....although i like the name "Godspeed".
