I just put a b16 in a 90 si hatch. ecu is throwing code 7 which if im right is for the tp sensor. My question is will vtec activate with a bad tps? I checked the ecu, its a manual pr3 ecu. Wires have good continuity from vtec sol. to ecu. Any advise will help thanks. Antone

 

i dont think the vtec will work with a bad tps. the sensor is right behind the tb. they usually go bad over time. get a new 1 and change it out. im me if you need some directions.
