ok...your 93 eg civic is currently on stock DX knuckles w/ 9.4" front rotors

* good pads, blank rotors, ss lines, fresh brake fluid, a lil grease & tires goes a long way

if you're planning to keep your DX knuckles & upgrading your front brakes w/ oem honda acura parts, there's many options available:

a. DX knuckles > 17cl15vn itr .nsx .legend gs 2-pot . front calipers > machined brackets > 10.3" front rotors
http://www.lukekailburn.com/brakes.html

b. DX knuckles > s2000 . rsx. tsx . front calipers > 11" corrado rotor
http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2569691

c. DX knuckles > fastbrakes adapter bracket > 90-01 integra 17cl14vn front calipers > fastbrakes 11" 4X100 rotor
http://www.Fastbrakes.com/product_p/...%20partial.htm

d. DX knuckles > 03 acura cl front calipers > 11" prelude vtec rotors (re-drilled to 4X100)

do you have drum or disc rear brakes?

a. any complete rear disc trailing arm assembly from 88-00 civic/crx, del sol or 90-01 integra

b. keep your drums trailing arms and bolt parts on

when swapping from drum to rear disc, you'll want to consider sourcing a valve proportioner from any rear disc w/o abs

for front brake upgrades, since you have a 93 eg civic, if you upgrade to bigger brakes, it requires more fluid to push the bigger piston. the DX master cylinder won't create enough pressure to accomodate for the bigger set-up. keep your DX booster & upgrade your master cylinder. 90-91 civic EX sedan will bolt on with no modifications, oem honda part # 46100-SH4-A11

Question: for a 1996 Civic

If I want to upgrade my front brakes to a 90-93 Integra brake set-up, what exactly do I need?

-Rotors
-Calipers

And what else?

I'm sorry to jack the ops thread, and I apologize if this question has been asked too many times. I tried to search for info but I can't get the exact answer I was looking for.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a CX/ DX then you would also need the front knuckle. IMO, keep your DX knuckle and run the S2000 caliper and 11" rotor.

Thanks for the input, Trey! But as good as your idea sounds, I couldn't do it due to the high price of the s2000 caliper here in our area (Not to mention the rarity of it as well).

I just want something that I can scrap from the wreckers.
When you said I just needed the front knuckle, did you mean the front knuckle of the 90-93 Integra?

I don't think the 90-93 knuckle is the same as the 94+ teg knuckle. I could be wrong though.

PM BE2 for the S2000 front setup. I got mine from him.

Would it be easier if I just took everything from a 94-00 Integra?

Knuckle, rotor, caliper, mc, bb, control arm?

Yes. You only need the lower control arm if you plan to use an OEM swaybar.
