I have a 96 gsr with a drag III I am going to be installing 550 injectors in my car but i need to install a resistor box to make them work. The resistor box has 5 wires coming off of it , one of the wires is pinkish red, and the rest BLACK. Any help would be appreciated.Thanx ahead of time

uhhh with RCs do you even need a resistor box? RCs are saturated injectors while the ones from DSMs are peak/hold.... right?

 

Mine are peak and hold and on my car if I go bigger than 440's I need the resistor box.but if they are saturated I wouldn't of needed it. RC makes P/H, and saturated

 

rc makes both saturated and peak/hold injectors. most of the bigger sizes (over 440 i think) are typically peak and hold. they can be either, though, so be sure to check which kind you have. peak and hold need the resistor box, saturated do not.

 

where to get a resistor box and what kind to get?

 

check the classifieds. any from the older hondas work fine. try sending an Im to rioninja, i bought mine from him. maybe he has some more.

check junk yards for the resistor box. You can get the resistor box out a few cars.I got mine out of a 94 Honda accord ex, I believe 88 91 integs got the also. and I also believe that crx and civic si's have them also 88-91 hope this helps
