Default 92 accord - abs light?

so, a family member of mine has a 92 accord ex, and the abs light came on. i havent looked into it, but the dealer said there is a $1000 cost to repair. can anyone point me in a direction to analyze/repair? can you run diagnostic codes, or reset the abs light, similar to the mil?

thanks!

attached to the work order from the dealer there should be a printed quote saying what parts need to be replaced. List those here.

Or if you know where the maintenance jumper is jump it and post the ABS code (it flashes error codes just like the check engine light). If they're saying $1K that's a modulator or something but you'd better check that out an ABS light can come on from just a disconnected wheel sensor.

Darn I can't find a picture of it. It's in the passenger foot well, on the underside of the dash to the right of the glove compartment. Stick a bent paperclip or whatever in there, put in the key, turn but don't start (oh I guess you know that part)... post the code/sub code(s) and I'll tell you what the Helms says.

Edit: It's the exact same jumper you'd use for CEL codes too. Blue one.

The ABS controller is seperate from the engine ECU, but they use the same jumper to make the code flash.
