I really want to upgrade from my 2001 em2 civic, and i love the rsx. I know about the problems with the 2002 and i would like your opinions on the other models. Also, i know this is a nooby question but did the type s come with a spoiler that looks really aftermarket? i searched it and some pictures had the spoiler and some didn't.

So if you could, just give your honest opinion on the year that you own, or just what you know about the car in general.

the 05+ has more power.

 

The one with the high spoiler has the Honda A-Spec package. Honda a-spec consists of coilovers in rear, springs and struts in front (provide 1" drop and a bit stiffer than stock). Wing, lip spoiler, front lip, rear lip. It was a dealer installed factory option for the type-s.

Looks better and quicker

 

05-06 has 10 more hp-thats it
imo the 02-04 looks better (as seen on type-r)

 

02-06 same power
05-06 shorter gears
