got a carbon trunk for a csx / fd2 trunk how do iget it to flush with the quarter panels with out messing with the gas shocks ? its off by just a little bit but bugs the hell out of me . also is there a way to put the outer tail lights on w/o cutting the frame

 

there's 2 metal rods on the ends of your trunk hinges that go across the upper region of your trunk. you need to remove those. those are what push the trunk up when its closed. the cf trunk is significantly lighter than the cf, so the extra weight holds the trunk down as compared to the cf one that weighs around 13 lbs that weighs nothing, which allows the springs to push up the trunk when its closed. and you need to adjust the latch in the trunk as well. the part thats attached to your frame and not the trunk lid. as for your second question, you need to trim the lights to fit. thank you have a great day!

It will probably unlatch, but you might have to pull it open by hand.

 

how do you take the two bars off? i cant get to the two tens that hold on to it ? take off the cover from inside ? does it un clip ?

 

you have to lift up the trunk when you unlatch it.
the subwoofer cover has the white clips that are tough to get out.
dont be afraid to use a flat head screwdriver and pry up the corner.
i pried the hell out of mine and nothing broke.
as for the bars, bolt cutters.

 

how to i get the bottom of the tail lights to line up with the rear bumper do i just get a csx/ctr bumper ?

lol actually no i wasn't going to do the ctr rear conversion at first but i found a hell of a deal and could not resist lol so i bought it with out research XD and hears the link for the ctr conversions .http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...927/index.html

 

this is it installed i will be getting a ctr rear bumper and spoiler to go with it soon
