please help me with radio code 03 accord
I recently got a 03 accord, I want to install HID lights in the car. I have the lights but i have to remove the battery to get to the drivers side headlights.
The radio is currently working fine, and i really really dont want to take out the head unit to get to a serial.
I did see a sticker in the glovebox it is white with black letters
12259335
Is the number i need in addition to my vin# ? I have heard that you can hit 1,6 and power at the same time, but i heard that only works if the radio is already disabled.
Any help would be appreciated. I would like to have the code before i take out the battery.
thanks

An easier way of getting to the driver's side low beam is to go through the fender well, just pull back the fender liner and it's a pretty clear shot to the bulb.
That 8 digit code is the radio's serial number. If you still determine that you need to remove the battery, you can go to any local dealership (or sometimes over the phone) and using that serial number in addition to your vin and they can give you the anti-theft code.
Yes, you are able to get the serial number by holding 1 & 6 together when turning the radio on.
