steering wheel????
Those Torx screws on both sides are a pain to get out. They're not the tamper-resistant type, but they're really tight. I tried to remove my airbag, and even with the proper size, I think it was a T-25, I stripped them out. I had to use my Dremel with a little cutting wheel and cut a notch across the head of it, and used a flat-head screwdriver to turn them out. After that it was easy.
the torx bolts were easy, btw thanks sfar that was very helpful. one prob i ran into tho, my new steering wheel is aftermarket and i couldnt get the hub on with that reel thing in the way, so i took that off and i removed all the sensors n such and i cut 2 of the wires because there was no way i could remove them. found out that was a bad idea. and now the turn signal relay in the fuse box clicks. any idea how to fix what i did?

i dont usually but im positive it was part of the srs system and the new steering wheel has no airbag so i dont need it. all the more power to the seat belt. lol
Air bags scare the bejeesus out of me. I had one go off in my face one time and I did not like it. My '67 Camaro has a metal dashboard and no seat belts. Now that's a car! I think if I were to wreck it, I would wanna die anyway, so it would work out for the best.
You say this now. Wait until you are actually in an accident and you will be singing a different tune.
