Ok, I've got a 1996 Civic 4d Sedan with a D16y8 and an Automatic Transmission. It has a Linear Selenoid Problem which I have fixed, although. Still no matter what gear the indicator says it only goes into reverse. Even if your sitting in Park, it goes in Reverse. You can bump down to like D4 and its in neutral, and if you go into D3 or D2, its Reverse..
I figured if its a shifting cable it would atleast hit a Drive gear after getting past neutral. Any thoughts? - I'm open.. I'm tapped out, I'm thinking its replace the Trans time, but if its some stupid fix, man I'd like that better than ripping out the trans.
