crv cluster..
hi everyone!
Are all the crv 97-01 cluster interchangeable? Like ex to lx, lx to ex, se to lx?
I also heard that 96-00 civic cluster can fit into crv? is it true?
**sorry for the noob question**
thanks in advance...

The only differences among 1st-gen CR-V clusters that I am aware of are:
- 6200 RPM tach redline for '97-98 models vs. 6800 RPM tach redline for '99-01 models
- ABS indicator light for EX & SE trim levels (and '97 LX-ABS)
- PRND21 indicator tree for automatic models

you might also wanna check on auto clusters,,
i saw one V that the cluster has an overdrive indicator,
my other auto V doesnt have OD, research something on
that too...
good luck!

Yes, good call. I forgot that one - the '99-01 PRND21 tree has an "O/D Off" indicator while the '97-98 automatic cluster has a "D3" indicator instead.
I know when I replaced the cluster in my 97, not sure what it did, but there was a brown plug on the back. Some of the 1st gen clusters have the plug and some do not. Just make sure you pay attention to which one you have, they both had different Honda part numbers.
