LSblock GSR trans. Why wont halfshaft fit?!

LSblock GSR trans. Why wont halfshaft fit?!
Been trying to fit halfshafts into my trans, but a gsr halfshaft will not seem to fit. It sounds as if its bottoming out in the trans, but the bolt holes do not up on the block? Also tried another halfshaft, Im assuming it might be a LS halfshaft, since it came with the block, but I have the same problem? Opinions, suggestions, solutions all welcome!
