Ground Control Coilovers
Ground control does not sell coilovers. They sell coilover sleeve kit that turn your suspension setup into a height-adjustable one. (OEM suspension is technically a coilover (shock) setup - it just isn't height adjustable).
You choose the shock (e.g. Bilstein, Koni, GAB) and they supply the sleeve kit and Eibach ERS race springs. You get to choose the spring rates.
How a suspension performs depends on the setup, alignment, damper settings etc.

So, will lowering the car 1.5 with Ground Control and the springs they provide make the stock shocks I would use wear just as fast as they would if I just went with some springs like H&R Sports to drop the R 1.5 inches. Are the eibachs that come with the Ground control kit designed to work with the stock shocks like the H&R sports are?
From the way you describe it, I could upgrade to aftermarket shocks with either the Groundcontrol kit or the H&R Sports later. Any thoughts, because I need to buy within the next week.

I'd just go with the H & R springs on the stock shocks.
I liked the ones I had, and Mike K likes them now.
P.S. I'm not sure if the H & R sports actually drop an R 1.5 inches, more like 3/4" lower than stock "R" ride height. Ed

Unless you use a spring rate similar to OEM (~240 lb/in) - I wouldn't recommend using the stock shocks - you will just burn them out. The H&R sport springs are probably around 300 lb/in at most. The Eibachs are meant to be used with aftermarket shocks that (ideally) have been revalved to work with the chosen spring rates.
p.s. I forgot about the Advance coilovers (not ever heard of any one buying these) - my bad
