need alittle help guys
hey guys ive got a friend that has a 91 civic hf 4 speed car and he wants to do a d16z6 in it with an si tranny. my question is what do i need to do to the engine harness to make it work with the z6? i havent actually looked under the hood of it yet but he said its not set up to run 4 injectors? so that tells me right there that ive got some modding to do to the engine harness or put an si harness in it wich ill probley have to change the underdash harness also right? i thought it was the dx cars that you had to change the harness in but ive only messed with Si's.
Ive searched my *** off also and didnt find what i was looking for obviously. thanks guys.

its not an hf, it's an std. those came with 4 speeds, and they're dpfi. (2 injectors).
so it needs to be converted to mpfi. you could switch out both the engine and cabin harnesses with ones from an Si, but it's a pain in the dick. much easier to run a few wires and convert the stock harness.

then use the stock harness which has been modified for mpfi and hook it up to the z6. you will still need to run wires for vtec and 4 wire o2 though. you'll also need an ecu jumper in order to run an obd1 p28, and a dizzy adapter. you can get this stuff from various places but i recommend rywire.
