Default Cant get a 93 Accord to turn over.

I have been working on an Accord of a friends to get running and buy off him and I cant get it to run. The friend said that it stooped running all of a sudden a few months ago and the whole car turned off and coasted to a stop. The lights flickered and the steering wheel locked up. I found the black 80 amp fuse blown and replaced it. I know the battery is good because I kept jumper cables on it with my other car running to make sure the battery wasnt an issue. The car just keeps on cranking with no sound or attempt to turn over. It almost feels as if there isnt any fuel getting to the engine. Although it may be a fuse or the fuel pump or all of the above, I have attempted to check them all with not a lot of luck. I get good spark from the spark plug wires when I stick a screw driver in the end and ground it out. Any ideas where to start?

Any help would be great.

when you turn the key to the "on" position, do you hear the fuel pump primming? How about the main relay do you hear it click?

If, you're getting spark, then you know it's something to do with the fuel. Since he said the car just stopped and the lights turned off and stuff, it's most likely an electrical problem. Not just a bad fuel pump. See if you can find an electrical diagram for the fuel system, and just start working your way back checking everything. If the fuse was blown, then there might be a bare wire somewhere that tripped it. Check all the fuses again since that's the easiest thing to fix. Check the fuses in the engine bay and under the dash. Like the other guy said, listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump or the main relay, that will help you narrow it down.

Look in the main relay switch if you don't hear the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on. The fuel pump is located under the back seat. So keep your ears open in that direction. If you turn the ignition on and don't hear anything its defently your main relay switch.

The main relay switch is under your steering wheel pop that little pannel off and get down under there its bolted pretty far up there. You'll need a 10mm extended socket to get at the nut.

Dude, you say it cranks AND does not turn over. Do you mean the starter engages and is turning something but the engine just doesn't start? If that's the case, maybe the timing belt snapped. If so, you should be hearing the pistons smacking some valves while you're cranking

You could pull the valve cover and have a quick look...

Could be the timming or the Fuel Pump I had a 93 Accord two-door that wouldn't start it ran fine when I parked it but it never started again, the fuel pump just went on it.

Sweet. So it sounds like the relay under the dash. I didnt hear the pump running when I put the ignition in the ON position. It has to be electrical somewhere in there that is having issues also.

Thanks for the help I will start with these ideas and work from there.
