JDM Headlights and HID beam pattern?
I'm planning to get the real JDM headlights and a HID h4 kit. Since i know the headlights does not have the reflector thing in front of the headlight bulbs unlike the USDM headlights do, will the HID beam pattern be scattered everywhere and blind oncoming traffic?
People already with real JDM headlights, how are the beam pattern for just stock h4 bulbs? Is it better than the USDM headlights with the reflector thing in the way or worst?

I haven't been in too many USDM equipped headlight hatchs, so I can't tell much of a difference in them. But, I do know they seem to cover a little more area, and seems to be a little brighter. I'm using Raybrig bulbs, and yes they are real JDM headlights.
when i purchased my 99-00 ctr headlights i also noticed that they did not include the reflectors like the usdm ones. i drilled a hole into my usdm ones and unscrewed the reflectors out. they install perfectly in my jdm ones. my bf and i painted the housings on my old ones black. they came out so nice that he put them on his car. the headlights don't have the reflectors and the do seem a little bit brighter. the only downside is that you get to see the bulb. but if that doesn't bother you, you should be fine. it is actually brighter.
thanks for the quick replys, but wat about HIDs? would a HID kit installed on JDM headlights without reflectors improve the beam pattern or just scatter it everywhere and blind other drivers?
