Does anyone know what type of power will you get if you drop a rsx type s head into a k20a3 block? Will that pretty much make it a type s engine? Or what would you guys suggest for more power? I don't own the car my friend does but i just wanted to help him out. He wants to sell his car and get a cobalt SS. I said absolutely not!!!!! He wants to make it faster without spending to much! What do you guys suggest?

 

I suggest doing a full k20a2/z1 swap because the bottom end of the A3 is the weakest point. You'll want high RPM's but the bottom end won't handle it.

 

Buy the Cobalt SS turbo.

 

yup, a3 def. not the best choice. If you're friend doesn't mind the look, just go with the cobaltSS, and he's the one who'll drive it, so let him decide and don't be a girl friend and stop telling him what to do, lol... (j/k)
