What is EGR Valve?

my da is throwing a code 22 for 12 EGR, or exhaust gas recirculation valve. Can someone show me a pic of what that is exactly or a how to to fix it?

exhaust gas recirculation. it regulates flow of exhaust gas into the intake manifold. vacuum operated.

somewhere on the intake manifold i believe if not on the left side of the firewall in a control box

might it be the yellow capped thing between the intake manifold and the head, to the left of the injectors? I don't want to remove the wrong thing so how can I ID it?

not sure color it is vacuum operated ill check alldata what yeear
