How do you tell what shocks will fit with used GC's?
I am about to buy some used Ground Controls, but there is one problem I need help with. Is there a way of telling what shocks they will fit? He bought them from someone with about 3k on them, and he has barely used them.
He said they didn't fit on his tokico's, but they fit his stock shocks. I will be putting them on koni yellows, but I need to know if they will fit.
I tried searching the numbers to figure it out, but couldn't find a definate answer. I would just hate to buy them and have them not fit.
Here is a picture of them. I'm also not sure what the numbers mean, but the 6 digit number after the Eibach logo are all different, except the middle 2 are the same.

Does anyone have any idea how I could tell? And if they wouldn't fit, would I need to get completely different coilovers or is there a part I could replace or something I could do to get them to fit?

Seems odd, Tokico shocks should be the same size as OE shocks. If they fit on OE shocks, they should fit on Konis, but you'll need an adapter ring if GC still makes them. Best to contact GC and find out.
Eibach labels their springs in the following order:
Length . Diameter . Spring Rate
They may come labeled in either English (inchesx100, inchesx100, lbs/inch) units or Metric units (mm, mm, N/m)
The conversion from Metric to English is (/25.4, /25.4, x5.7)
so u have....
200.64.44 = 8" . 2.5" . 250lb
200.64.67 = 8" . 2.5" . 380lb
and u can use those in the koni yellows like this "unsafe mode"

or try to get this rings

or the best way, get the GC koni conversion kit....

For example this is what I found on one of the sites:
Part number 4540.01 fits
- Stock, Sachs, Boge
- Tokico Premium Performance
- Tokico Illumina
- KYB AGX
1. Koni Yellows only.
So I don't understand how they fit his stock shocks but not Tokicos.
And JrEk9, where do you get those rings? If I would get these shocks and they wouldn't fit my Konis, I could get these rings to make them fit?

well if those fit in stock can fit in koni but the GC need seat at the ring "safe mode" or seat like the "unsafe mode" where the regular springs seat...
i had the same problem got GC for stocks shocks and them move to Koni, so i got just the perches and sleeves kit from Ground Control, here some pics to see the diferences
u will see the diference between stocks GC, and GC Koni Specs in they diameter

in this one u can see the botton diference between stocks and koni specs, the koni specs have that little ring inside to seat perfect at koni shocks.......

the big one is the rear for stocks shocks and the little one is the front koni specs

With the parts from the kit that you have shown in the pictures, they will not fit Koni dampers. However, like JrEk9 said, the correct sized sleeves and perches to fit a Koni are available.
The kit you have now will fit a Tokico damper. I'm not sure with the previous owner said it wouldn't.

I couldn't have said/show it better. Thank you.

Maybe I'll tell him that they will fit his Tokicos, and save him the headache of finding coilovers that will fit his Tokicos, which is the reason he bought the ground controls in the first place.
And thanks for the pics JrEk9, I'll definately keep them to use as a reference if I ever need them again.
