Default best springs for 5th gen??

Im shopping for springs on my car and looking for a 1inch drop or around there. I dont want to have camber problems nor want to invest in shocks. Springs only .. What is the best on the market for a 5th gen? Thanks

I'd get coilovers instead, so that you can adjust your height whenever you want to...

Your options are extremely limited. The best choice might be the Neuspeed softsport. The Eibach Prokit lowers just enough (in my case anyway) to have caused me to buy Camber kits. The Neuspeed Sport springs now on my car required me to use Camber kits and lower more than the Eibach (1.5" and 1.7"). There are several other spring sets out there including the Tokico Showa. If you are absolutely dead set on springs only then you can use a stock rate linear spring from Skunk2 or Ground Control on their sleeves (prices will be around $300) and you can set the drop exactly where you want it.
I remind people all the time of the rule of thumb on lowered cars and Camber change--simple: for each 1" of drop the Camber will go negative by ~0.75 degrees from where the car was originally. The only way to know for sure after any drop is to get the car aligned, which you should anyway.

The answer to the Camber kits is-maybe. It really depends on how much of a drop you want. If more than 1" it is possible. If you go with either the Eibach Prokit or Neuspeed Sport it is highly likely that you will need to do the rears at least. Again-I stress that ONLY an alignment will tell you what your settings are before and after any drop. It is also strongly urged that you get this done any time you do suspension work. The toe-in is going to change and is adjustable. If you want to e-mail me your settings, I can help you along. You can also talk directly to the experts, or visit the websites, at Ingalls or Specialty Products for their advice. Hope this helps.
As to the Tanabe springs-cannot say.
