Does any one have any experience with tuning a Type S TL ecu? complete manual tranny. **NOTE** this is for a non Acura TL application. it is going in an EG civic, but since the question pertains to the drive train only, it is here.

hondata has this available. a Kpro ecu with a jumper harness to allow use of traction control and other ecu related features that a Kpro can not handle.

Can a kpro ecu operate a Type s Manual out of a TL by its self without the aide of the jumper harness?

Hondata does not have anything for the J series engines. Kpro will not work with the v6 due to the 6 injector drivers and coil pack drivers. this is what i found out a while ago. I may be wrong.

I wish they would hack the tl and rl ecu that would be nice.

 

just get the ECM for the Type S dyno tuned and problem solved.

 

Except it wont hold. The computer overrides it in a few weeks.
