why does my tranny still smell
i got my tranny rebuilt about a week ago and i put about 1k miles on it. i know its supposed to smell alittle bit but it still smells. i was just wondering if its supposed to still smell a little bit. its an automatic 97 ex???

You MIGHT be leaking some tranny oil...On my SR20DET, its leaking and its landing on the cat so the cat burns it up and it creates a smell...Your trann seal could be in loose....I'm not sure..
