I have a nearly stock '00 GSR it has an intake/header/exhaust. For some reason i keep toasting my valves, this is the second time now, and it keeps happening on cylinder 2. i replaced the injectors several times. i think that it is just running lean. both times a chunk has been taken out of the flat part of the valve. i will post pics later! any help?

 

I had the same problem and it was because a couple of my valve guides were cracked. I would check that and see if thats the problem especially if its on the same side of the valve as last time
