Default Not as low lowering springs?

Hey, so I just recently purchased a 1997 lx with a '99-00 si engine/tranny swap.
I love the car, only needs a few things to be fixed up but its way low. I scrape everywhere and the fender lining is constantly getting pushed on.

What are some good springs that will give me that nice drop, decently low but not slammed? It also has kyb shocks if that helps.

Thanks

doesnt look low enough lol.

what kind of springs does it have now?

eibach pro kit offer a modest drop, usually 1.4 inches.

It's more than low enough for me, I couldn't care much for being slammed nor scraping on everything.
I'm not sure what springs it has on it right now but i'm going to be putting it on a lift tomorrow so i'll check then.

and yeah, mudflaps are coming off soon.

I agree, I don't like to drive a super-low car either. It's a major pain in the ***, and doesn't really help handling all that much.

You look like you're dropped about 3.5", maybe a bit more. Eibach sportlines will raise you maybe 1" from there, they're supposed to be a 2.5-3" drop. Eibach Prokits will raise you about 2" from there... they should be about a 1.5-2" drop.

Here's my car on Sportlines and Koni Reds. Perfect ride height, IMO:

That thing is low, Hes tucking tire.

Look into tein S tech springs, 1.8 inch drop. And have an OEM feel to them.

ahh damnit, alright guys, i put the car on the lift today and i have kyb's in the front and oem shocks in the rear with what looks to be ebay lowering springs. What's a good, cheapish set of coilovers or spring/shock combo?

For a decent coilover set up youd be lookin at 800-900 at least.

Id look into tokico HP's or illuminas With a mild drop spring like tein s techs or Eibach. Something that will leave you with about a 2 finger gap.

I have Tein basic coilovers and they were just under a grand.
If you have to get some OEM springs for the front while you save up, that thing looks like it bottams out on everything and i dont even wanna think about the noise it makes when you hit a decent pothole

Koni Reds and Eibach sportlines or Prokit, depending on how low you want.

Either way, should run you right about $450 total, which is good for high-quality components.

H&R sport here, -1.75 front -1.5 rear. Perfect for me. I scrape mudflaps and occasionally SiR lip but 95% of the time I have no issues.

Eibach sportline are model specific for each car. There aren't sportline "reds" or "blues" or ""race" simple just eibach sportlines.

Don't know what you were looking at, but there is only one Eibach Sportline spring for your car. It lowers the car a certain amount. The drop is different for different cars, but for your particular car it is what it is.

There are different Eibach springs with different drop amounts. There are ProKits with a smaller drop, and Sportlines with a bit more drop.

Pro-kits for 92-95 Civics lower 1.4/1.2 in f/r, and Sportlines 1.6 in f/r

Pro-kits for 96-00 Civics lower 1.5/1.3 in f/r, and Sportlines 1.8 in f/r
