Everyone knows and has seen the wrinkled del sol door panels, about 2 years ago i came across a guy on ebay selling inserts that cover the arm rest on the door to hide the ugly wrinkles that they all have... Stupid me never bought them and i am regretting it now since cant find them anywhere... I guess im just wondering if anyone has come across these inserts or has made them, or knows anyone who is selling them??

yea theres a good chance he woulda just sold you some fabric and a needle charged you 50 bucks and called it a day. just get new panels if it bothers you that much.

 

At the time i saw them then were very well priced, only like 20 bucks i think, and i wasnt just materials it was formed fiberglass piece covered to match the interior, and if i buy new door panels they will just let go the same way every del sol door panels do after a few years, it was a design flaw, so i was considering a long term solution...

 

wrape the full panel in whatever fabris u want bro

I am fully prepared to re-wrap my door panels if these things really don't exist anymore. I'm not lazy, it's just there's a reason why these have that common problem, and I was really curious if anybody knew where they could still be purchased. That's why I asked. When you stretch vinyl that much to fit those curves, it's bound to wrinkle eventually. The panel on my driver's side is actually torn.

Either option is just as ok to me.
