Default Squeeling under 30 MPH

Hey everyone,

My car has started making a very irritating noise. It started out with the car making a noise kind of like a tuning fork when I would be going under 5 mph, It has slowly progressed to a constant tuning fork noise under 30 MPH. So I figured it was my rear rotors which I then replaced because they hadn't been replaced ever. Sound went away for a day and now it's back.

New rotors on the rear
New rear pads
Checked my front pads and there is still plenty of life left and it's not touching the wear indicator.
Front rotors were replaced 8000 miles ago.

Wheel bearings have never been replaced, is this waht a bad bearing sounds like?

Car has around 120K miles on it.

Thanks!

Ran a search but nothing really helped me.

Were the caliper sliders lubricated, and the pads assembled with 'disc quiet'? Did you install the brake shims?

I have a horrible squeal at low speeds, and Im sure its the friction from the caliper to the pad.

...just a thought.

Thanks for your input, yes I used the disc quiet gel, brake shims on the back of the pads? I have never had to lube the caliper sliders can you elaborate?

Thanks!

make sure the Metal dust guard behind your rotors didn't get bent in. it could be rubbing against your rotor....
