Default super noob question: D15B2 motor in a B1 car?

my buddies got a 91 civic with a blown B1 motor, he was wondering if he can put in a D15B2 in the car?

Will the ecu work? Tranny issues?

Anything he needs to know?

From reading wiki article it seems though the ECU's are different

Thanks for your help and please excuse the noob question
