Icon6 95 Civic DX Troubleshooting

Hey guys I'm new to engines and have had some problems with my car.
As stated in the title, it is a 95 Civic DX. So heres whats going on.

Like all good cars, she's a standard. I was driving around town
when I hit a red light. So I depressed the clutch to brake and when
I came down to about 15-20km/hr she stalled out. When I went to start it
up again it wouldn't start. So I pushed it off the main road and called a tow truck. 15 minutes later she started up again fine, and ran seemingly better.
Later that night (after more driving) she just died on me and I actually had to
have it towed. Since then it'll start no problem after sitting for a period of time,
but when driven it'll eventually stall out and won't start. Now luckily I have a few friends and family members who are more mechanically inclined who have been here to support me but even they can't figure this out. We've changed out the IAC, and Main fuel relay and the problem still persists. People have mentioned "checking codes" but as I've only had her for just over a week, I don't know how to do that. After trolling countless forums I have assessed that it may also be the ignitor or ignitor coil, or some faulty wiring. If anyone could pass along some assistance it would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks in advance, JaguarX

Do you have a Check Engine Light (CEL) on? The CEL must be lit in order to pull a code from the ECU. You are correct. The ICM and ignition coil are the main possibilities, the ICM being the most likely. You should remove them both and take them to a parts store to have them tested. While you've got the distributor apart, you might want to replace the cap and rotor as well if they aren't new.

Okay, so after some tinkering and more trolling, I finally got around to working on her.
I replaced the ICM as well as the coil and the spark plugs. Rotor and cap seemed in decent shape so for now I'll leave em. She's running great now. Before hand as I mentioned I replaced the Idle Air Control Valve and since the CEL has been on but she's not idling rough, accelerating rough or causing me any problems.. should I be worried?

Well I'd have to say worrying isn't usually helpful but it's your car, your baby and it's telling you something is wrong. You can find info on code pulling here https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/
