Accord 96 2 door 5 speed with vtec


So my whole downpiping is all messed up with mulitple air leaks and bad welding
can this maybe be why the smell is coming out the exhaust
Or can it be that i need a new catalytic converter
Im also aware that i need two ( front and rear) new 02 sensors as my CEL is on
Any help would be appreciated
N also vtec isnt kicking in at all car only revs to 5rpm

 

Well if your CEL is on for both 02 sensors you need to start there. Whatever the problem is with them, whether they are done, or the circuit is malfunctioned somewhere, with them not responding to the ecu, the ecu is telling the fuel inejctors to just dump fuel, making you rich just to be safe.
