Need to match Tranny to Vehicle.
I have been having trouble with my 98 Accord transmission. I was initially assuming it was a problem with a clogged filter. However I hired a mechanic to look at it and he claims that the transmission is shot. I changed the tranny oil after some slipping started occuring and it solved the problem for some months. That's why I thought it may be the internal oil filter.
I need to match the Transmission to my vehicle because ironically he has 2 Accords that he is selling. I don't want to this guy to get away with my orginal transmission or pull a fast one on me.
Can anyone tell me how to match the numbers to make sure the transmission Im fixing is actually mine?

These series of numbers were on a sticker tag: BAXA-5273499
WPAX30
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

It is located on the bottom on a strip attached to the case, similar to that of the one on your dash.
If you have the original transmission it should match the VIN on your car.
