Alarm is a Python 991 on 94 Civic Hatch. What can I do? I know it's the alarm because I have not other electrical mods.

No, I don't have a 12V test light and I don't know how to do a parasiticdrain test. Please explain what I need and the procedure. Thanks.

You can pick up a 12V test light for about $2.99 at most automotive supply stores.

To do a parasitic dran test all you need to do is...

1 turn everything off on the car, disconnect a batt. cable, makes no diff. which one, connect one end of test light to batt. post and other end to cable, it the test light lights up, at all, there is a parasitic drain, unplug the alarm, if the test light goes out replace the alarm, [it has a problem].
If it is only a problem when alarm is armed the test is a little diff., you must arm the alarm, connect the test light before you disconnect the batt.

What I do is clip the test light to the batt. clamp touch the test light probe to center of post, lift clamp off the post without touching the test lights probe. 94
