I have a 1990 CRX with an ls swap. when i start it up, it idles at 4-500rpm but doesnt die, just feels like it will. And after engine is at operating temps, it idles from 1k to 1500rpm. no check engine lights and runs strong so im clueless.

update: today it died after start up. idled low for maybe 30 seconds and died.
dont know if that helps

sounds like either a faulty map sensor or tps

 

i read some about the FITV and IATV, think it could be either of those?

 

maybe idle control valve? what kinda ecu are you runnin?
