I just got a pair of 2000 Si seats basically for free the guy gave them to me when I bought his Fat Fives with rubber for $400. So will these seats go into my car without modification and how cheap are drop springs, my car sits so high with the Fives its like a truck. Has anyone ever just Cut the stock springs until thy could afford a real setup. I really dont have the money and want drop, like ASAP, and should i sell or install the seats ??

 

The seats won't bolt on, sell them and buy yourself a nice suspension set-up or atleast some coilovers+cash in your pocket.

 

X2...these will not fit (might with extensive fab work, but they will still sit too high).

 

x3 sell the seats. personally i hate all ek seats they sit way too high and are really flat when you hit a turn youll slide right out of them. you could swap them in though with seat pan swap but not worth it at all thats probably why you got them for free. that and you paid alot for fat fives.

 

Sell seats, buy cheap buckets, used tokicos and ebay sleeves.

 

why do you think I paid too much for the Fives. with the free seats. how hard is it to find 1991 si seats-they should bolt right in and look nicer too.

 

Damn, i am in Canada where things typically cost more. I bought a full set of fat 5's with almost new rubber for $200...you paid too much.

As for the Si seats, they suck! I have an Si (SiR) myself, first thing to go were those god awefull seats
