Abnormal Wisiling when throttle applied, searched!
my friend has a problem and we cant figure it out, i already checked the intake, vacume lines, and such, what could be the problem, the valve cover has the little filter on the outlet that should go to the intake, could that be the problem? how a bout the screw on the trottle body that regulates how much air goes into the trottle body? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks oh btw its a ls motor
It can happen in a few ways but when you open the screw on the throttle body it will make that whistle. Try turning it down and see if that's it.
Another way is an intake. I had a k&n on a stock intake arm and it still whistled.
Depends really on when it happens.
One time I connected my amp wrong and it made a supercharger like wine whenever I gassed it.

eerp, im not a nub ita a 97 gsr integra with a 98 ls b18b1 motor and trans, it does have a intake, i already put a vaccum hose plug on the extra inlet that is for the hose from the valve cover, it still make that freaking sound ill try the screw on the throttle body
If the whistle is at part throttle and medium revs its pretty normal - seems to happen as soon as you take the intake resonator out. Got an itr with mugen intake and even that does it
