Icon2 B16A OBD1 to B16B OBD2

I currently have a 92 hatch with a B16A OBD1 P30 ECU. I just purchased a B16B from a 99 civic type r, it comes with motor, trans and ecu. I want to stick with OBD1 (less restrictions), i was thinking about reprogramming my current P30 or getting a chipped P28. Which one would be better? Or should i use the B16B ECU and buy the OBD1 to OBD2B Conversion harness? And will all the sensors/connectors be the same on the B16B? I hear you have to do something with the Dist. Cap? Can anyone tell me the best way to make this swap work?

What are your plans for the engine setup ? keep it stock as is ? or upgrade cams/intake/throttle body/ others in the future ?

If you are going to keep everything stock ( unlikely ) , find a step up harness and run the obd2 ecu

But best recomendation would be is get the obd1 ecu chipped and tuned for the b16b . And once you do upgrades you can get it retuned.
