I am buying an LS block with a GSr tranny too. I was owndering what you guys with the same setup or similar run.....last night i ran a 19.7!!!! with a bone stock cx......pretty embarassing I am not going to the track unless i get a motor.....just let me know. I am going NA too so if your hatch is NA that would be sweet....just want to know thanks

you would know if your car was from the East , its says in the vin

USDM hatches are EH2/3.........not "EG"

w/ my set up...crappy driver...F*#ked up 3rd and 4th synchros..kinda wet track (it was drizzling that nite, but they didn't shut the track)and no track experience ever...i did 15.7...
there's a guy..i think 93LSivic...he did 14.6 w/ bone stock LS motor.

JV is a coupe that's over 300 lbs + at the least.

 

a friend of mine runs 14.9 with just h/i and cam gears. his interior is gutted except for the dash. he also has some crappy stock tires so if he had better tires he could do lower times.

thanks everyone...i am very excited about the swap...i hope like mid to high 14's we'll see i will keep you guys posted....I know jv perosnally him and i were at the track yesterday he got 15.0 wiht stock LS motor in a coupe a lot heavier than a hatchy....spoon hatch is becuase ALL the parts will either be sppon or straight jdm

An EG4 would be a Civic Vti h/b in japan, so if your car is right hand drive and has a 1.5 single cam vtec d series motor, maybe you have an eg4 then.

I've run 14.6 in my eg6 on street rubber a while back. A few mods down the line now and I'd hope I can cut a low-mid 14...

 

those are made for track racing not 1/4 mile driving....
you will be dissapointed with your high end...but in turn your mid range will be stronger...correct me if im wrong....
