Default b16 tranny rebuild

heys guys i just bought another dx ef hatch for $1000 came with 1st gen b16a y1 lsd tranny jun stg3 cams valvetrain type r manifold fpr 2 pr3 eriks racing ecu's msd cap walbro 255 megan racing lca's megan racing 4-1 header 2.5 piping & tokico illuminas, not bad this thing rips. but the catch is that 4th gear is done it wont go in. my ? how much would it be to rebuild that cause i dont really wanna let this tranny go. i know itll be kinda pricey but is going to be over 700 to rebuild?

Probably more than 700 when you factor in labor. Depending what the parts are it needs.

if it doesnt go into gear its gotta be the syncro set..
My reverse had that problem replaced my syncro set and viola!
I think it was like $90 for the parts and replaced it myself. :-)

ill pay up to 700. just took it for a spin and it went into 4th but had to wait for the rpm's to drop all the way down so im guessing a syncro? i got it friday and got it into 4th just twice.
