Default ... trunk opens but alarm doesnt go off

hi everyone. i got my stealth alarm done. buy when my car is armed, and i open my trunk(with key)....the alarm wont go off. but when i close it, it will panic. how do i fix it, seems like a common problem... thinkin bout gettin a sound system but .... you guys get the point

the trunk pin wire is not connected to the alarm.is a blue/black wire at the fuse box under the dash.alarm going off after closing the trunk is because of the shock sensor

Ditto that^^^ .

The other possibility is you have other sensors trigger leads connected to the trunk input lead, [along with trunk] of alarm without diodes to isolate them, I also agree it is an shock/impact sensor that is triggering the alarm when you close the trunk.

What is the MM&Y of the car?
What is the make and model of the alarm? 94

i also have this problem. mine is a civic 2000. can someone guide me on how to fix this? do i need to bring the glove box down to find this wire? then connect it to the alarm brain right?
