Gen 8 Hood dampers on V6 work on 4cyl Coupe?

Gen 8 Hood dampers on V6 work on 4cyl Coupe?
Anyone ever buy the hood dampers from the v6 model and stick them on a 4cyl model? Was wondering if they just mount up? Thanks!

A few people done it before; but, they had to make support brackets to attach the dampers.
