i need a catback exhaust for my lady's 98 acura cl 2.3 coupe. she broke her's in half somehow so instead of replacing it with a stock one i might as well get an ebay one for her for 120. but which generation accord exhaust do i need to get for her, the fifth or sixth generation accord exhaust?

btw, don't tell me to search cuz when i do it says "The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: cl" so basically i can't get any info on this from it... i also checked the faq section and found nothing, i may be blind though...

 

I know that 5th gen accord coupes are pretty much the same car as the Acura CL, but i dunno about the exhaust. "maybe"? maybe you can do some extensive research about the 5th gen accord coupes and 1st gen acura CL's.

YEA RICEHEAD IS ABOUT RIGHT BUT THEY MIGHT B DIFFRENT

 

The CL coupe is the same as a 97 Accord coupe (I didn't check all the other 5th gen years; but, probably would be the same).

First image is 1998 Acura CL coupe exhaust, second is 1997 Accord EX coupe. Exhaust pipe B is part number 18220-SV1-C70, muffler is 18030-SV1-508.

 

yeah, any 94-97 Accord coupe exhaust should work. I have a RS*R SS Exmag on my 98 2.3.

mmm, the rsr one looks great but my girlfriend won't be able to appreciate it and i don't wanna spend 360 so i'm just gonna go with an ebay one for 120 :D
