Post H22a4 wont start....has spark and is getting gas

I have a 1992 honda accord 5 speed that i kept blowing the crank seals in the f22, instead of redoing the crank seals and figuring out why they keep blowing on me i decided to go with the H22a4 swap......I drove 300 miles to pick this motor up and worked on it for hours.....i also bought lots of parts off ebay that where missing and converted it to manual timing tensioner.....after all this time and money put into this car i cannot get it to start......i changed everything to obd1 and all grounds are hooked up......its getting spark and gas, also has plenty of compression and timing is dead on.....idk if its the crank sensor or TDC sensor causing it not to start or what cause i dont have them hooked up.....my f22 harness never had the spot to plug them two sensors into it ......anyone have any ideas why this wont start?

It could be a lot of things on a mix-and-match install like you've described.

Be sure you have strong spark, adequate fuel pressure, and an on/off pulse at the injectors while cranking.

Get a scanner and check for diagnostic trouble codes and/or incorrect sensor data (coolant temperature, TPS, etc.).

Pull the plugs -- wet or dry?

The one item that caught my attention was your installation of a manual timing belt tensioner. Check and double-check that the cam, crank, and counter balance sprockets are in time.

Thanks for the reply.....i did get it to start with a b18 distibutor so i think it was just getting bad spark.....im gonna order a new obd1 h22 distributor and throw that on......Motor sounds great besides the fact that i have to do some exhaust work to get my downpipe hooked up.....

one more question though....sense i am running off a f22 ecu i know i wont have vtec but will my motor rev to 8000 rpm or will it still only go to 6200 like the stock f22 did? I would just go rev it out to find out but im waiting for the valve cover to come that i ordered on ebay....should be here this saturday.......If anyone knows alot about h22 swap in 92 accord and also can help me hook up vtec then call me or text me im willing to pay someone to hook the vtec up when my parts come in.....315-405-7974

sounds like you kept the obd2(h22a4) dizzy on the motor, that distributor wont start that motor in an obd1 car. you will need to put the h22 obd1 distributor on there that has all the crank and cylinder position and tdc sensors in it.
