Ef Cluster Question

Default Ef Cluster Question

Ok i got a 89 ef hatch & i tried installing the si cluster that comes with rpms
and the harnest dont fit..so i come to conclusion i need to hit the junkyard and get the s.i or crx harnest for that cluster
but i also seen other clusters on ef's .like a gsr cluster & a civic ex cluster
how is that possible????

you need an 88-89 tach cluster and that will plug right in to your car. you can put any cluster in there by rewireing the plugs to plug into the newer cluster. just a heads up newer cluster need an electric vss. search cluster swaps its been done a gazilion times.

all u have to do is get a 90-91 harness and match colors but you need the cluster hood too

go with the 99-00 si cluster they look good.
