Default Tach replacement

Hi,
So I have a B18C-R in my 99 Civic. Problem is I am using my stock EX tach so the redline is clear off the gauge. I don't want an external tach, as they look tacky (no pun intended). Is there a stock tach pod that will fit in my cluster that will have the correct redline?

I could go Si cluster. But the redline isn't correct either although being able to see what the number the needle is at is better then what I've got going on currently

I could try a CTR tach, but I don't know if I will be able to find one, and I don't think the Teg tach will fit in my cluster.

So will the gauge itself fit in my EX cluster? I want only the tach. The rest I can do without. The kph would drive me nuts. I'd end up going 70kph instead of 70mph...

you wouldnt be able to just use the tach without changing the electronics the face isnt the only thing that changes the stepping motor that moves the needle and the electronics are all different as the numbers arent the same distance apart

Right, I guess I neglected to mention I have put some work into my EX cluster. I changed all the lighting to blue and installed a VTEC light. Which I could do in a different cluster, but it was a pain in the rear. So my resolve is to simply change the tach gauge to one from a CTR.

You can try this for a RPM tachometer and it can change redline from 8 -9.5K rpm, a company named OMNIpowerusa makes one, hopefully this helps you.
