I can't get the hoses to disconnect from the IACV, they're basically melted to it or something (Yes, I removed the clips lol). I noticed that the gold plate under the IACV where the hoses run to is attached by screws, if I remove the plate is there anything behind it I could screw up?

 

cut the hose and get a new one.
simple as that.
i think coolant runs through there.
nothing inside i belive
