Default rusted function 7 end links

i ordered some function 7 adjustable spherical end links about a month ago, and my car has seen one snow storm since the install. i noticed today that the head of the end link where your put the allen wrench in to hold them from spinning freely has some surface rust on them. also the bolt itself has some surface rust. is this normal? ive read many reviews that blox end links have this problem but nothing from function 7

the area circled in red is the part that i'm talking about.

Probably normal. I haven't gotten under my car in a while to check.

If you're worried about it, see if you can source some stainless steel allen head bolts.

you can also run these, my asr endlinks have no rust because of them.

Not the link bearing, just the exposed bolt that connects the link to the LCA or sway bar. With that bearing seal, the bolt head is still open to the elements.

Remove bolts. Wire-brush + penetrating oil to remove existing rust. Paint bolts w/ Rustoleum flat black enamel. Re-install bolts.

Would that work?
