Default b20 vtec build

im planning on doing a b20 vtec build in my 95 civic hatch i already have a b16 motor in it right now. i was just wondering if you can use the b16 pistons and crank in the b20 block or what are some piston i can use in the b20 block?

pistons wont work motors both have different bore. Just swap they head and make sure you put a gsr/b16 oil pump on it too

you can buy aftermarket ones.... What are your plans for the build?? Have you done research or just gonna slap parts on it and see how it turns out?? b16 bore is 81mm and b20's are 84mm i believe..

ive been doing research probably buy a block some time soon then slowly get parts not in to big of a hurry to do it and i dont wanna screw anything up. but for the most part it seem pretty easy

often used cams are
stock gsr
stock b16
skunk2 stg1-stg3/pro1-pro3
crane stg1-3
toda a/b/c
itr ctr
crower stg1-stg3
watever u can think of, its been done "often"...

dont forgtet to install a catch can setup for blowby. use the correct headgasket. the
B20Z pistons will fit the B20B no prob. but expect no more than a slight raise in compression.

cams often used on the B20/Vtec (depending on pistons) *you have to research:
Skunk2's
ITR
CTR
all Bseries stock (VTEC)...eg: SI, GSR, SIR-G, SIRi, SIRii,
Crane
TODA
JUN
Buddy Club
Crower

etc, etc, etc...
