Is there a difference between 3rd gen integra brakes and a 96 spec 4x114 set up? I am getting conflicting info.

 

As for size, No. The pads and rotors are the same size.

 

What exactly have you heard? The bolt pattern is different (4x114.3 is the same bolt pattern as the 90-02 Accord 4cylinder, 92-96 Prelude, and several other cars while the 4x100 is of the Civics and Integras 4 lug) but has the same sized rotors and pads as the DC Integras (3rd gen, 94-01 Non-Type R)

what brake pads would you use if you have the 4x114.3 conversion??
i heard the dc2 ones work do they??

 

Yes, regular non-Type R pads work.
