im doing a z6 swap and dont have a harness, but my friend has a automatic z6 harness will that work for my 5 speed eg?

 

yea it will work. you are going to have to run the wires for the reverse switch.

If you're just using the engine harness and not the underdash you don't have to rewire anything, automatic and manual '92 - '95 engine harnesses are identical from the same trim level. The 2 wires used for the automatic transmission solenoids on the automatic harness are used for the backup light switch on the manual, same plug, same wire colors, same pinout.
