What clutch to run with high hp d16 boosted and built

Default What clutch to run with high hp d16 boosted and built

Trying to find out what a good clutch is for a Built and Boosted D16 ran the 6 puck ebay f1 racing before i went all out and fully built the head and bottom end. Now i need to find a clutch thats gonna hold upwards of 350 to 450 in my car

Well for starters why dont you do a quick search on google for performance clutches for honda. then using your given (i hope your mean torque) numbers, find a clutch that can hold that. Then decide on a brand. Not trying to be a dick, just you gotta do some research. There is no one sure fire clutch for this setup type deal. Thats what I did and decided on my SPEC stage 1. If i had to suggest something it would be a SPEC stage 3 or up. I will say that from my experience with clutches you get what you pay for though.

i have done alot of research. im not exactly new to the game. just havent had this much power in a single cam. was kind of trying to get reviews and the clutches people are running in their higggher hp cars. im thinking exedy 3 puck its a great clutch exedy makes good stuff. your stage one just wouldnt cut it

Well I know my stage one wouldnt cut it, im not boosted either. I heard good.bad stuff from all companies. But Alot of my friends use exedy and i'm sure the one you suggested would be find. Just make sure you get one rated to your torque numbers :thumbsup:
