Paint Color Decision - Poll - Decisions
So I paint my car very soon. And I need to decide on a color. Please vote and leave comments. Thank you.
Also, should I leave hood and trim pieces black? (ie. mirrors, door handles, etc.)
Note: My car is an EJ2 Milano Red. I will post up pics tonight.

champ white all the way!!! but make sure that the shop your gonna get it painted knows what champ white is first. or else your gonna end up like mine.lol
I voted Milano Red. I really like Milano Red. I wouldn't do any other color unless you are doing a full color change and painting the door jams, engine bay, etc. But that's just my opinion.
I had my EJ1 repainted recently the factory color(Milano Red) and I had the underside of the hood painted, mirrors painted. I taped off the bumper cover grills to keep them black, I took off the side moldings on the doors, fenders, and the rocker moldings on the bottom and freshened them up with black trim paint I found at a body shop. They came out super nice after 3 coats of that. I put them back on when I got the car back from the body shop. I also taped off the rear lip on the bottom of the rear bumper cover to keep it black. I took the vertical moldings on the door off to before sending it in to the paint booth.
Good luck with your decision and hope it comes out nice.

I said Midori Green- I love all things green and I think it looks especially nice on cars and it isn't the "same ol' same ol'" if you know what I mean.
keep the same color... your probably tired of it because your paint is old and looks dull but its gonna look a lot sharper once your done... I repainted my car captiva blue and was iffy about that cause I kept thinking it wasn't gonna be a huge change but its like a whole new color...
keep it the same color unless you are getting the complete shell painted then i would vote champ white but if not keep it red i decided to keep mine silver because i dont want to go through the hassle of getting the door jams and engine bay painted.
it all depends on the wheels and other accessories IMO...but i would actually keep it red or maybe paint it midori green. IMO champ white is played out. everyone around my area wants to paint their car champ white. i like to be different lol
yeah i want to be different. thats why thunder gray is in the choices. I've seen maybe 2 ej's in gray. And they looked amazing. red is really popular too.
thunder gray would look good too. i think midori green would stick out and be different considering its hard to find a factory midori green car and the color is sex lol
any paint can look like **** if not done right. its all in the body work...but white is prob the easiest color to paint and i think thats one reason why so many people rock champ white cuz it hides some of the bad body work. but the quality of the paint job is in the body work. remember that lol
hmm. im expecting to pay $1000 for prep and paint. my brother is in a body shop class in college and i thing hes gonna fix all my door dings n **** for free. he did his 5.0 mustang dents and his looks good.
you could prob get a decent shop to do the paint for 1k..the body work is what cost so much most of the time. and i would say thunder gray if you plan on keepin everything the same.

this is f**k'd up i have a Milano Red ej2 coupe in need of repainting, i was going to open a thread like this
